We are four cyber security professionals who each took an unorthodox route into security. We are proof that anyone can succeed in the cyber security industry and wish to share our knowledge and experience so that others can succeed too.

Chief Operating Officer

Robbie

SANS certified SOC lead providing managed security services for organisations. Robbie studied a BSC in Sport and PE who then worked in events before starting in the security industry in 2016. Robbie is an excellent leader and has been involved in recruiting a scaling up multiple security professionals.

Chief Information Security Officer

AJ

Senior Cyber Security Contractor and Incident Response Lead with experience in the banking sector and managed services. AJ entered security after studying a Business Masters and working as a bus driver. AJ has experience engineering detections and orchestrating responses to cyber breach for large enterprises.

Product Director

Vaughan

Tier 3 Security Analyst working in managed services. Vaughan studied a Bsc in Computer Security and landed his first security shortly after graduating. Vaughan has rebuilt numerous security processes, including an advanced threat hunting program and is the only Empirical Trainer with a Security degree.

Marketing Director

Josh

Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager who evangelises security best practices and thought leadership. Josh studied Law LLB and an MA in Ancient History, before AJ got him an interview for an analyst role. Initially mentored by Robbie, Josh has experience as an analyst before moving into sales and marketing.
